Mimi & Ray Come to Visit

Mimi and Ray made a quickie trip this weekend to get their "fix."

Aunt Kristen was never good at waiting until Xmas to give her presents. This year was no exception. Here's Colin playing with his new toy. He was a little scared at first, but one can never underestimate the power of flashing lights and cartoon animal sounds.

Colin definitely enjoyed the music at the Dogwood.

Long Weekend

This is the life.

The First Thanksgiving

What's more appropriate than Thanksgiving in Massachusetts? Colin spent the day with a few (40) close friends and family members. While he wasn't yet ready to partake in the meal, his dad made sure to eat two portions.

A Weekend At Rest

Laying low this weekend, folks. Nothing much to report except for the Giants' road win against Detroit and the Yanks' signing of the current/future MVP. The Celts finally lost a game, but it was bound to happen. (That's right, I'm rooting for the Celtics this season. The Knicks never happened. Hear me? NEVER HAPPENED.)

As always, some more pics:

Colin is slightly more interested in the TV than in pretending to fly.

Yes, we got the Hurleys to watch the G-Men yesterday.
Kristen was giving commentary on Big Blue's pass rush.

The Patriot's game was a snoozer.

I have no words to add to this picture. We'll be back in a few days with what are bound to be interesting Thanksgiving pictures. Have a great holiday!

This Station Stop is Bronxville

Watch your step leaving the train. We finally made it down to Westchester to visit Mimi's apartment, and to visit many of Colin's new aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, etc. It was a great day, filled with a lot of celebrating. While he hasn't yet taken his first Metro North ride down to Grand Central yet, there will plenty of opportunity for that over the holidays.

Aunt Robyn got some quality time in before the madness hit.

Kerry and Doug even made a surprise appearance.

Colin had no shortage of friends to entertain.
Perhaps a career in acting when he grows up?

Cat always manages to appear at feeding time - I'm sure it's just a coincidence.
Rich, Stacey and Ryno showed up and taught Colin the value of a
Holy Cross education (as if he needed any more help).

Aunt Eileen was definitely a pro.

Erin officially pronounced Colin to be
"the cutest baby in the world." Now it's official.
By the way, nice glasses!

I dug these photos out of an old album. Check out these characters. I think this was the same group who rented a house together last summer:

Top, from left to right: Lauren, Micki, Patrick

Bottom: Josh, Kerry, Jerusha, Mike, Jimmy, Dennis

We made it home late on Sunday to catch the Pats game.
Colin was exhausted and was happy to catch some z's. See you all next week!

Halloween

Halloween is a great holiday for kids (and Kerry). While Colin is a little too young to have appreciated it, we did watch The Great Pumpkin and had some trick-or-treaters (five kids who were more interested in the frozen pizza I was cooking than the candy, and who then broke my screen door on the way out). Anyway, we had a fun night.

Can you really blame him?

Your mummy? She's right there! Next to Gisele!

Boston Sports (New Yorkers, please forgive me.)

These photos aren't pretty. I've finally been overwhelmed by the tide of Patriots one-sies and Red Sox bibs. I figured - let mom have all the fun she wants while he's 2 months old. I'll make sure things are done right when he starts dressing himself.

Anyone seen Gisele?

Oh, there she is.

For posterity. We stayed up watching the final game.

A Weekend Home

We got to have a weekend home before heading out on tour again next weekend. Somehow, Dad got to stay home and watch Colin - by himself. [Gulp.]

Bath-time went off without a hitch.

Colin was excited to see Abby again.

There's nothing like sleeping in on the weekends.
