Colin was baptized on Saturday by Father Wright at St. Mary's Church in Milton. There was a great deal of excitement in the days leading up to the big day. We had to get him an outfit, there was a party to plan, guests to invite, etc. It all kind of over-shadowed the actual ceremony.
But when we finally got to the church (with not a minute to spare), we were kind of struck by how proud we were of the little guy. All of our family and friends were there and it truly was a joyous occasion.
So welcome, Colin, to Catholicism. You finally got your parents back into the church on Sundays, a gift which we shall repay upon you every Sunday for the foreseeable future. Congrats!
(The party was pretty great, too. Thanks to the Hurleys for hosting, and thanks to all who came and who sent their best wishes.) Some pics:
Auntie Robyn getting in some quality time. (I don't know why I've been calling everyone "Auntie," but it's funny so I'm still going to do it.)
The paparazzi was on hand. Thanks for filming, John & Christina!

This kid's got some good-looking godparents, that's for sure. It's a little-known fact that the more attractive your godparents, the more successful you turn out.
I did not know that the godparents had that much influence - we lucked out...
Well, let's hope Colin is the exception to the rule.
